Ease of Installation

The information below may provide some reference for easier installation. Every item at Tekarbon is assigned to a ease-of-installation rating which shows the possible situations that may occur during the installation. |
 Novice |
Parts with this indicator may be a directly bolt-on as a OEM replacement. Sometimes minor filing such as drilling the holes or adding washers will bring a perfect fitment. Always use hand tools to screw the bolts on the carbon fairings. Tools that may need:

 Intermediate |

 Semi-Advanced |
Parts are less flexible and filing on slot may require. Always use hand tools / lubriant to screw the bolts on to the plastic fastener. Never over torque the fastener on the carbon fiber. If holes on the plastic fastener are too small for the screw, open the holes with a slight larger drill bit.

Parts are less flexible and filing on slot may require. Additional fairings may need to remove to complete the installation. Always use hand tools / lubriant to screw the bolts on to the plastic fastener. Never over torque the fastener on the carbon fiber. If holes on the plastic fastener are too small for the screw, open the holes with a slight larger drill bit.
